The 2007 International MEP Session in Rome

I'm glad to announce that the Estonian delegation has returned home. A week of hard work and lots of compromises behind us, results are finally in. We were represented in five committes: Committee on Foreign Affairs, Committee on Employment and Social Affairs , Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection and last but not least Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development. All those committes worked hard for two days to produce solution to their problems. The General Assembly was confronted with 10 resolutions. Five of them had had our little hands tinkering. Out of those five 3 passed, one with flying colours. In addition to that an amendment proposed by yours truly found support among the delegates. In other words, it was a success.
